I posed a question yesterday in regards to relationship issues for a 53 year old man in love with a woman stuck in a house by her X-husbands money (an economic hostage) he is paying for the house payment, medical insurance and most other bills. She is unemployed and waiting on a partial disability settlement. She says that she is in love with me…but will stay in the house so she has a place to live. My delima is that we have known here 5 years and dating her 2 years. I am hopelessly in love with her yet after 2 yrs I still dont have her in my arms daily..nightly and forever. This all seems so hopless Pls help me!

I am ready to meet somebody or date seriously. In my mid-30’s/ My experience: the finacial situation does make a difference. Many women who have never been married focused on career and thus seek a finacial =… more than I have now. Divorced, well.. most made out pretty well are very weary as to debt, and are ready to party w/ divorce settlement, carry bags and own weigh. Women w/ kids, never dated 1 yet, but many personals read: looking for economic security understandable.

Not a good pickup line, but don’t want to hide it. Who are the exceptions to the above, So how do I know/address this issue?
Carry bags and own weight as a metephore for going on vacation dutch.
What might be a few suggestions to bring this up early? Or how would you put it on a dating website.
It is re assuring to know that not everyone is like that, which I know .
I just starting looking online, all dates were from people I met. Eventually something came up, I could se it in thier eyes. I can not go on 3 vactions a year, I can not afford a ring in the near future. I know that some of these people are not really like this, but believe it is more of an age thing.

Another question to ask, do women in there mid-30’s w/o kids who want kids fall into this hold out period. Where they will hold out for just the right person to still make this dream come true before they hit 40? Like a mid 30’s crisis.
